How it works
Add your Markdown file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to Rich Text Format, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert Markdown (.md) to Rich Text Format when lightweight markup needs a broadly compatible editable document for Word-compatible or legacy software.
MD → RTF
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

RTF supports formatted text but does not share Markdown's syntax model. Check imported structure and retain the MD source when markup fidelity matters.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
RTF opens in many word processors and can be useful when a workflow accepts formatted text but not Markdown or modern office containers.
Heading styles, nested lists, tables, code blocks, raw HTML, hyperlinks and images can depend on the Markdown importer and the simpler RTF destination model.
The result is produced as Rich Text Format (application/rtf). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts Rich Text Format but your source file is Markdown.
Markdown and Rich Text Format can represent document structure differently. MimiFile imports the Markdown source through its isolated office-processing pipeline and writes a new Rich Text Format result rather than merely renaming the extension.
Markdown is primarily text-based. It carries much less page-layout information than a word-processing format, so a richer output cannot reconstruct formatting that was never present. Markdown is imported through the office pipeline, not through a dedicated Markdown rendering engine. Verify whether Markdown punctuation was interpreted as expected or remained literal text.
Rich Text Format is intended for editable word-processing content. It can preserve rich structure, but application-specific fields, styles, tracked changes, fonts or embedded objects may map differently.
Different document formats have different feature models. Keep the original when exact editability, typography, formulas, media or application-specific behavior matters. Markdown is imported through the office pipeline, not through a dedicated Markdown rendering engine. Verify whether Markdown punctuation was interpreted as expected or remained literal text. The conversion is performed with an isolated headless LibreOffice profile. Features that have no equivalent in the destination format can be changed, flattened or omitted.
Check character encoding, line breaks, special characters and whether text markup or whitespace was interpreted as intended.
The downloaded file uses Rich Text Format. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
