Which technologies are essential, how advertising consent works and how users can keep control of non-essential tracking.
Current position
MimiFile’s core conversion tools do not require an advertising profile or optional advertising cookies. Essential security and temporary conversion functions can operate without them.
Essential technologies
Some technical storage or request information may be necessary to deliver the service, protect it from abuse, keep a conversion available long enough to return the result and maintain reliable access. These mechanisms are used only as needed to provide or secure the service.
Google AdSense
If advertising is enabled, MimiFile may use Google AdSense. Google and participating advertising-technology providers may process browser, device, network and ad-interaction information according to the consent choices and their own policies. Uploaded files are not intentionally supplied to AdSense for advertising purposes.
Consent and refusal
Where consent is legally required, optional advertising storage must remain disabled until a valid choice is collected. MimiFile intends to use Google's Privacy & messaging solution or another Google-certified CMP where required for AdSense.
Core service without optional consent
Refusing optional advertising technologies should not block access to the core conversion tools solely because advertising consent was refused. Security or technical limits may still prevent a specific request independently of advertising consent.
Advertising placement
Ads must remain visually separate from upload, conversion and download controls and must not imitate a download button or encourage accidental clicks.
Managing your choices
When a consent message is active, users must be able to review or withdraw their choices through the available consent controls.
