Terms of Use
Simple rules for using MimiFile safely and understanding the limits of file and value conversions.
Using MimiFile
By using MimiFile, you agree to these terms. The service provides on-demand file, unit, value and currency conversion and is not a backup or archival platform.
Your responsibility
Only upload material you are legally entitled to possess and process. You remain responsible for copyright, confidentiality, privacy and any other obligations attached to your files.
Prohibited use
- Do not upload malware, deliberately harmful files or illegal material.
- Do not try to bypass file-size, usage or resource limits.
- Do not probe, exploit, disrupt or interfere with the website, conversion service or hosting infrastructure.
- Do not use automated requests in a way that materially degrades the service for other users.
Conversion results
A conversion can change quality, metadata, transparency, fonts, layout, codecs, timing or geometry. Some conversions are inherently lossy. Check the result before relying on it and keep your original file.
Availability and temporary storage
MimiFile may change supported formats, file limits or processing limits to keep the service stable and secure. The service may also be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, incidents or provider outages.
Currency and value conversions
Fixed unit conversions use MimiFile's configured conversion definitions. Currency results depend on third-party rate data and may be cached, rounded or delayed. They are informational and are not financial advice or an executable exchange quote.
Intellectual property
You keep your rights in files you upload. MimiFile keeps rights in its original branding, interface and content where applicable. Open-source components remain governed by their own licences.
Service limits and governing law
MimiFile is provided on a best-effort basis. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to mandatory law, users are responsible for keeping originals and checking results before important use. These terms are governed by French law, subject to mandatory protections that apply to the user.
