How it works
Add your PSD file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to WebP, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert PSD to WebP for websites or applications that need a compact modern image rather than an editable Photoshop document. The PSD composite is flattened before WebP encoding.
PSD → WEBP
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.
Add your PSD file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to WebP, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
WebP can carry transparency, but PSD layers and masks are flattened into one rendered image. MimiFile currently writes WebP with an encoder quality setting of 85.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
WebP is useful for web and app delivery when you need a standard image file with modern compression and optional transparency instead of a Photoshop working document.
No. MimiFile uses the rendered PSD composite for this conversion. Layer structure, masks, smart objects and editable text are not transferred to WebP.
The current image converter writes WebP with quality 85. Re-encoding can change fine image detail, so keep the original PSD when future editing matters.
The result is produced as WebP (image/webp). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts WebP but your source file is PSD.
PSD and WebP are not interchangeable containers. MimiFile decodes the visible image from PSD, normalizes it and writes a new WebP file. WebP is useful for websites and apps that need a modern balance between image quality, transparency support and file size.
For a PSD, MimiFile converts the composite preview image. Editable Photoshop layers, masks and layer structure are not preserved. Orientation is applied before the output is written, so the pixels are saved in the displayed orientation. Embedded metadata is stripped from the converted image.
WebP supports compressed image encoding; the final size and visual fidelity depend on the encoder settings and the source content. MimiFile currently writes WebP with an encoder quality setting of 85. WebP can carry transparency, so an alpha channel present in the decoded source can be retained.
WebP is useful for websites and apps that need a modern balance between image quality, transparency support and file size.
Compare the WebP result with the original PSD before replacing your source, especially when color, transparency, small text or fine photographic detail matters.
The downloaded file uses WebP. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
