WebM and MP4 are containers with different common codec ecosystems. A usable MP4 may require transcoding rather than simply copying the WebM streams into a new extension.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
WebM commonly uses VP8, VP9 or AV1 video with Opus or Vorbis audio, while MP4 workflows often expect other codec combinations. The conversion engine may therefore need to re-encode media.
Review image quality, audio, duration, subtitles and metadata in the target application. Container conversion does not guarantee every auxiliary stream maps identically.
The result is produced as MP4 (video/mp4). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts MP4 but your source file is WebM.
The downloaded file uses MP4. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
