How it works
Add your FLAC file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to WAV, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert FLAC audio to WAV for editing, production, DAWs, samplers or legacy software that works more readily with WAV files.

FLAC stores audio with lossless compression. WAV is commonly used for uncompressed PCM workflows and can be substantially larger; verify sample format, channels and metadata in the output when they matter.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
WAV is common in audio editing, production and hardware workflows. Converting can improve compatibility with tools that expect WAV without claiming that the source recording gains quality.
FLAC reduces storage size with lossless compression. WAV workflows commonly store decoded PCM audio with little or no compression, so the resulting file can require more space.
Container metadata and supported sample representations can differ. Check sample rate, channel layout, sample format and tags when the converted WAV is destined for a strict production workflow.
The result is produced as WAV (audio/wav). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts WAV but your source file is FLAC.
The downloaded file uses WAV. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
