How it works
Add your Plain text file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to HTML document, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Turn a plain TXT file into an HTML document when the text needs to enter a browser, CMS or web-editing workflow.

Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

Plain text does not define web semantics. The HTML export can represent paragraphs and text, but it cannot reliably infer headings, navigation, design-system classes or the structure of a finished website.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
Plain text is accepted here as text/plain. The current source-file limit is 50 MB.
The result is produced as HTML document (text/html). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts HTML document but your source file is Plain text.
Plain text and HTML document can represent document structure differently. MimiFile imports the Plain text source through its isolated office-processing pipeline and writes a new HTML document result rather than merely renaming the extension.
Plain text is primarily text-based. It carries much less page-layout information than a word-processing format, so a richer output cannot reconstruct formatting that was never present.
HTML is suited to web-oriented output. MimiFile returns HTML exports as a ZIP so generated companion assets are delivered with the main HTML file.
Office-to-HTML conversion aims at transferable content, not hand-authored semantic web code. Complex page layout can become verbose HTML and generated media files can accompany it. The conversion is performed with an isolated headless LibreOffice profile. Features that have no equivalent in the destination format can be changed, flattened or omitted.
Check character encoding, line breaks, special characters and whether text markup or whitespace was interpreted as intended. For HTML, keep the downloaded ZIP together because companion images or assets can be required by the exported page.
The downloaded file uses HTML document. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
