PDF is accepted here as application/pdf. The current source-file limit is 128 MB.
The result is produced as HEIC / HEIF (image/heic). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts HEIC / HEIF but your source file is PDF.
PDF stores fixed pages. Converting PDF to HEIC / HEIF creates a new representation of those pages; it does not restore the original authoring file.
Each PDF page is rasterized as a HEIC / HEIF image. A multi-page PDF produces multiple images delivered together rather than one long image.
Check page resolution, small text, transparency or color changes and confirm that every page was rendered.
The downloaded file uses HEIC / HEIF. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
