PDF and DOCX can differ in compression, metadata, transparency, animation, container or codec support. The result follows the capabilities of DOCX.

PDF is accepted here as application/pdf. The current source-file limit is 128 MB.
The result is produced as DOCX (application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts DOCX but your source file is PDF.
PDF stores fixed pages. Converting PDF to DOCX creates a new representation of those pages; it does not restore the original authoring file.
DOCX creates an editable Word document from PDF content. MimiFile first tries layout reconstruction; scanned pages can fall back to OCR, so complex pages can still differ from the fixed PDF.
Check fonts, tables, columns, headers, page breaks and positioned objects. OCR fallback prioritizes editable text over pixel-perfect layout on scanned pages.
The downloaded file uses DOCX. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
