How it works
Add your OpenDocument Text file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to Rich Text Format, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert an ODT document to RTF when you need broadly compatible formatted text instead of the full OpenDocument feature set.
ODT → RTF
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 90 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

RTF is simpler than ODT. Text styling transfers more naturally than page styles, fields, complex tables or embedded document features, so inspect important output.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
OpenDocument Text is accepted here as application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text. The current source-file limit is 90 MB.
The result is produced as Rich Text Format (application/rtf). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts Rich Text Format but your source file is OpenDocument Text.
OpenDocument Text and Rich Text Format can represent document structure differently. MimiFile imports the OpenDocument Text source through its isolated office-processing pipeline and writes a new Rich Text Format result rather than merely renaming the extension.
OpenDocument Text is a formatted word-processing document. It can contain paragraphs, styles, tables, page settings, fields, images and other layout-oriented objects.
Rich Text Format is intended for editable word-processing content. It can preserve rich structure, but application-specific fields, styles, tracked changes, fonts or embedded objects may map differently.
When moving between editable word-processing formats, compare page breaks, styles, lists, tables, headers/footers, fields and embedded objects. A richer destination does not restore information already absent from the source. The conversion is performed with an isolated headless LibreOffice profile. Features that have no equivalent in the destination format can be changed, flattened or omitted.
Check fonts, pagination, headings, lists, tables, headers/footers, fields, comments or tracked changes, images and embedded objects.
The downloaded file uses Rich Text Format. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
