How it works
Add your OpenDocument Text file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to EPUB, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert an ODT manuscript or document into a reflowable EPUB for e-readers and reading apps instead of preserving fixed office pagination.
ODT → EPUB
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 90 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

EPUB adapts content to the reader's screen. ODT page styles, headers, footers, floating objects and print-oriented positions may change in the ebook output.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
OpenDocument Text is accepted here as application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text. The current source-file limit is 90 MB.
The result is produced as EPUB (application/epub+zip). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts EPUB but your source file is OpenDocument Text.
OpenDocument Text and EPUB can represent document structure differently. MimiFile imports the OpenDocument Text source through its isolated office-processing pipeline and writes a new EPUB result rather than merely renaming the extension.
OpenDocument Text is a formatted word-processing document. It can contain paragraphs, styles, tables, page settings, fields, images and other layout-oriented objects.
EPUB is suited to reflowable reading on e-readers and reading apps. Fixed page geometry is not its purpose.
The result is reflowable, so fixed page breaks, headers/footers, floating objects and print-oriented layout can be rearranged for reading screens. The conversion is performed with an isolated headless LibreOffice profile. Features that have no equivalent in the destination format can be changed, flattened or omitted.
Check fonts, pagination, headings, lists, tables, headers/footers, fields, comments or tracked changes, images and embedded objects. For EPUB, test the result in a real e-reader or reading app because reflow can differ by viewport and font settings.
The downloaded file uses EPUB. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
