How it works
Add your TIFF file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to BMP, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert TIFF to BMP with temporary processing. This page shows the supported input, output and current size limit.
TIFF → BMP
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

TIFF and BMP can differ in compression, metadata, transparency, animation, container or codec support. The result follows the capabilities of BMP.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
TIFF is accepted here as image/tiff. The current source-file limit is 50 MB.
The result is produced as BMP (image/bmp). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts BMP but your source file is TIFF.
TIFF and BMP are not interchangeable containers. MimiFile decodes the visible image from TIFF, normalizes it and writes a new BMP file. BMP is mainly useful for legacy Windows, imaging or software workflows that explicitly require bitmap files rather than compact web delivery.
For a multipage TIFF, this converter uses the first page for the image conversion. Orientation is applied before the output is written, so the pixels are saved in the displayed orientation. Embedded metadata is stripped from the converted image.
BMP supports compressed image encoding; the final size and visual fidelity depend on the encoder settings and the source content. BMP can carry transparency, so an alpha channel present in the decoded source can be retained.

BMP output can be much larger than JPEG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC for the same pixel dimensions. Compare the BMP result with the original TIFF before replacing your source, especially when color, transparency, small text or fine photographic detail matters.
The downloaded file uses BMP. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
