How it works
Add your Apache ORC file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to CSV, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert an ORC dataset to CSV when broad spreadsheet, database-import or text-table compatibility matters more than retaining ORC's typed columnar storage model.
ORC → CSV
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

ORC can represent typed and nested columnar data; CSV is a flat text table. Schema information is not carried as a native CSV schema, and complex values may require text representations.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
The destination stores rows and columns as delimited text rather than ORC's typed columnar structure. Downstream tools may infer types again when the CSV is opened.
Review nested values, timestamps, nulls and binary data after conversion. Text-based destinations cannot preserve every ORC type with the same semantics.
When a tabular destination cannot represent lists or objects directly, nested values are serialized as JSON text where supported instead of being silently discarded.
Nulls and timestamps are preserved when the destination supports them. Binary values can be represented as Base64 text in text-based or spreadsheet outputs.
Check column types, null values, timestamps and nested fields before using the converted file in a production data pipeline.
