Convert MSCX to MXL online with MimiFile. Music Tools processes the score with MuseScore Studio and returns a temporary downloadable result.

Converting MSCX to MXL changes what the destination file is designed to store. MuseScore Studio handles the export, so notation, layout, playback or audio characteristics can change with the target format.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
MSCX is MuseScore’s uncompressed XML score format, useful for text-based inspection and versioning. MimiFile validates the MuseScore score file before sending it to the isolated music worker. The source remains temporary and is not used as permanent score storage.
MXL is compressed MusicXML: a ZIP-based package containing a MusicXML score. MuseScore Studio opens the score and exports a new Compressed MusicXML score file using its native conversion engine.
MusicXML and MuseScore formats preserve structured notation, but exact page breaks, fonts and application-specific engraving can differ after conversion.
Open the converted score in the destination notation app and review page layout, fonts and application-specific engraving.
