Convert MSCX to MIDI online with MimiFile. Music Tools processes the score with MuseScore Studio and returns a temporary downloadable result.

Converting MSCX to MIDI changes what the destination file is designed to store. MuseScore Studio handles the export, so notation, layout, playback or audio characteristics can change with the target format.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
MSCX is MuseScore’s uncompressed XML score format, useful for text-based inspection and versioning. MimiFile validates the MuseScore score file before sending it to the isolated music worker. The source remains temporary and is not used as permanent score storage.
MIDI stores timed note and performance events rather than engraved page layout. MuseScore Studio opens the score and exports a new MIDI sequence file using its native conversion engine.
Exporting notation to MIDI keeps note timing, tempo and performance-oriented data, but page layout, engraving, lyrics and many notation details are not represented the same way.
Open the .mid result in a DAW or notation editor and check tempo, instruments, note timing and articulation before further editing.
