How it works
Enter a value, select Kelvin and Fahrenheit, then MimiFile calculates the result instantly using the conversion model for this category.
Convert kelvin (K) to degrees Fahrenheit (°F) for scientific, engineering and technical temperature values.
Enter a value, select Kelvin and Fahrenheit, then MimiFile calculates the result instantly using the conversion model for this category.
Use °F = (K − 273.15) × 9/5 + 32, equivalent to °F = K × 1.8 − 459.67. For example, 273.15 K = 32°F.
Temperature uses an affine scale/offset model.
First subtract 273.15 to convert kelvin to Celsius, then multiply by 9/5 and add 32. The combined formula is °F = K × 1.8 − 459.67.
0 K corresponds to −459.67°F. Kelvin is an absolute scale and its symbol is K, not °K.
Kelvin and Fahrenheit have different interval sizes: a 1 K temperature difference equals a 1.8°F difference.
Useful when a specification, map, recipe, technical document or device uses Fahrenheit while your source value is in Kelvin.
