How it works
Add your GLB file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to STL, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert a GLB model to STL when you need geometry for a slicer, CAD-adjacent workflow or 3D-printing pipeline that accepts STL.

Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 90 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

STL is geometry-focused. Materials, textures, rigs, animations and most scene-level data available in GLB are not represented in a standard STL output.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
STL is widely accepted by slicers and 3D-printing tools. It is useful when the printable mesh matters more than the richer scene and appearance data stored in GLB.
Standard STL describes triangulated surface geometry and does not carry GLB materials, texture maps, skeletal rigs or animations. Preserve the GLB when those features matter.
Before printing, inspect the STL in your slicer for scale, orientation, watertight geometry, thin walls and other mesh issues. Format conversion alone does not guarantee a printable model.
The result is produced as STL (model/stl). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts STL but your source file is GLB.
The downloaded file uses STL. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
