How it works
Add your GLB file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to OBJ, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert a GLB 3D model to OBJ online. MimiFile exports a standalone geometry-focused OBJ for workflows that need mesh data rather than the full GLB scene package.

The current GLB to OBJ export is geometry-only: external MTL files and textures are not packaged with the OBJ, and GLB animations or rig data are not preserved in the OBJ result.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
GLB can package geometry, materials, textures, scene data and animations in one binary file. OBJ is an older mesh format focused mainly on geometry and normally relies on separate files for material definitions and textures.
MimiFile currently creates a self-contained geometry-only OBJ. Use the result when mesh geometry is the priority; keep the original GLB if you need its materials, textures, armature or animations.
OBJ remains widely supported by 3D editors, CAD-style mesh tools and interchange workflows. For web scenes or animated assets, GLB is usually the safer format to keep as the source.
The result is produced as OBJ (model/obj). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts OBJ but your source file is GLB.
The downloaded file uses OBJ. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
