Converting MusicXML to OGG changes what the destination file is designed to store. MuseScore Studio handles the export, so notation, layout, playback or audio characteristics can change with the target format.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
MusicXML is a structured notation interchange format for moving editable scores between notation applications. MimiFile validates the MusicXML score file before sending it to the isolated music worker. The source remains temporary and is not used as permanent score storage.
Ogg Vorbis is a compressed lossy audio format for playback and distribution. MuseScore Studio opens the score and exports a new Ogg Vorbis file using its native conversion engine.
Audio exports are rendered from the score with the MuseScore Basic sound profile. They represent playback, not editable notation.
Listen to the rendered audio before sharing it; instrument sounds, balance and expressive playback can differ between setups.
