How it works
Enter a value, select Minute and Hour, then MimiFile calculates the result instantly using the conversion model for this category.
Convert minutes (min) to decimal hours (h) for durations, timesheets, schedules, travel estimates and elapsed-time calculations.
Enter a value, select Minute and Hour, then MimiFile calculates the result instantly using the conversion model for this category.
Divide minutes by exactly 60 to get decimal hours. For example, 90 minutes = 1.5 hours, which is 1 hour 30 minutes in clock-style notation.
Time uses a base-unit scale model.
hours = minutes ÷ 60. One hour contains exactly 60 minutes, so 30 minutes = 0.5 h and 120 minutes = 2 h.
A decimal result such as 1.5 h means one and a half hours, or 1 h 30 min. It should not be read as 1 h 50 min.
Useful when a specification, map, recipe, technical document or device uses Hour while your source value is in Minute.
