How it works
Add your JPEG image file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to GIF, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert JPEG image to GIF with temporary processing. This page shows the supported input, output and current size limit.

Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 50 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

JPEG image and GIF can differ in compression, metadata, transparency, animation, container or codec support. The result follows the capabilities of GIF.
Current source limit : 50 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
JPEG image is accepted here as image/jpeg. The current source-file limit is 50 MB.
The result is produced as GIF (image/gif). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts GIF but your source file is JPEG image.
JPEG image and GIF are not interchangeable containers. MimiFile decodes the visible image from JPEG image, normalizes it and writes a new GIF file. GIF remains useful for simple legacy-compatible graphics; MimiFile's current image conversion output is static rather than animated.
JPG is processed as one static image for this conversion. Orientation is applied before the output is written, so the pixels are saved in the displayed orientation. Embedded metadata is stripped from the converted image.
Writing a lossless destination does not restore detail already removed by lossy compression in the source. GIF is written without intentionally adding a lossy quality step in MimiFile's current image path. JPEG image has no alpha transparency to preserve; converting it does not create transparent areas automatically.
GIF remains useful for simple legacy-compatible graphics; MimiFile's current image conversion output is static rather than animated.
MimiFile currently produces a static GIF from image conversions; it does not create a new animation sequence. Compare the GIF result with the original JPEG image before replacing your source, especially when color, transparency, small text or fine photographic detail matters.
The downloaded file uses GIF. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
