How it works
Add your DOCX file. MimiFile checks the format, converts it to HTML document, and provides a temporary download when the result is ready.
Convert a DOCX document into HTML plus any generated companion assets when you need an export that can be reviewed for web or CMS use.
DOCX → HTML
Drag and drop, paste a file, or browse your device.
Files are temporary and deleted automatically.
Limits: 90 MB per file · 128 MB total per batch.

This is an office-to-HTML export, not a clean semantic publishing engine. Complex Word layout can create verbose markup, and companion images or assets are delivered in the ZIP.
Current source limit : 90 MB per file. Up to 10 files can be submitted in a batch, subject to the global batch ceiling.
DOCX is accepted here as application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document. The current source-file limit is 90 MB.
The result is produced as HTML document (text/html). Features unsupported by the destination format cannot be preserved.
Use this when a service, device or workflow accepts HTML document but your source file is DOCX.
DOCX and HTML document can represent document structure differently. MimiFile imports the DOCX source through its isolated office-processing pipeline and writes a new HTML document result rather than merely renaming the extension.
DOCX is a formatted word-processing document. It can contain paragraphs, styles, tables, page settings, fields, images and other layout-oriented objects.
HTML is suited to web-oriented output. MimiFile returns HTML exports as a ZIP so generated companion assets are delivered with the main HTML file.
Office-to-HTML conversion aims at transferable content, not hand-authored semantic web code. Complex page layout can become verbose HTML and generated media files can accompany it. The conversion is performed with an isolated headless LibreOffice profile. Features that have no equivalent in the destination format can be changed, flattened or omitted.
Check fonts, pagination, headings, lists, tables, headers/footers, fields, comments or tracked changes, images and embedded objects. For HTML, keep the downloaded ZIP together because companion images or assets can be required by the exported page.
The downloaded file uses HTML document. Check the result if the source contains transparency, animation, embedded fonts, metadata or other format-specific features.
